Anstee House

FDS were contracted to undertake the strip out of the space formerly occupied by Kingston College on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors of Anstee House. The works were carried out above an occupied restaurant.

Careful logistics were required due to cumbersome waste transit routes through busy pedestrian walkways to keep all parties happy and safe. A tight program required up to 7 waste collections a day and a total of 130 over the duration of the project. FDS endeavoured to keep dust from screed and block wall removal to a minimum by utilising new dust extractor attachments for breakers in addition to standard dust cubes and water. Challenges during project included a large plant room and chiller located at 3rd floor level which required disassembly to be carried by hand down a flight of stairs.

FDS worked with the BW Team to sequence the strip out works to allow the fit-out trades to commence before the strip out had been completed.
