Panasonic House

FDS were contracted to strip out the Panasonic Europe Headquarters. The 4 storey 120,000 square foot office building required an internal strip out to be repurposed for a multipurpose self-storage and office layout. All M&E was removed including the ducting from a 170 square foot central riser. The raised access floor was protected to be retained while half a kilometer of 4 meter tall blockwork walls were carefully taken down and removed from site. All of this while FDS balanced the safe access and welfare for Panasonic to retain active offices in the lower level. To help Panasonic employees safely remain on site, the two-storey reception and safe route was retained until the final week when external welfare facilities were established.
